Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the BeBadge platform, our websites, and our mobile applications, all operated by Billiton Services Private Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”, or “BeBadge”). By accessing or using BeBadge, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

1. The Service

BeBadge is a smart event management platform that provides visitor registration, QR-based access control, Scan-to-Connect lead exchange, an AI business card scanner, payment collection, live reporting, and related services to event organisers, exhibitors, and visitors across a connected ecosystem of web portals and mobile applications.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

To use certain features, you must create an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

3. Acceptable Use

When using BeBadge, you agree that you will not:

Use the platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorised purpose.

Misuse, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform, its servers, or networks.

Upload or transmit any unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or harmful content.

Use contact data captured through the platform for unlawful or unsolicited bulk communication.

Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the platform, except as permitted by law.

4. Roles and Responsibilities

Organisers are responsible for the events they create, including the accuracy of event information and the lawful collection of attendee data. Exhibitors are responsible for their use of captured leads. Visitors are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide. Each party agrees to comply with applicable data protection laws in respect of personal data they access through the platform.

5. Payments

Where the platform is used to collect registration fees or exhibitor payments, such payments are processed through third-party payment providers. Funds are settled to the respective organiser or exhibitor. BeBadge facilitates these transactions but does not hold or route funds on an ongoing basis. Any fees payable to BeBadge for use of the platform will be set out in a separate commercial agreement.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of BeBadge is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect personal data in compliance with the DPDP Act. By using the platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

BeBadge, the BeBadge name and logo, and all associated software, designs, text, graphics, and content are the property of Billiton Services Private Limited or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the platform without our prior written permission.

8. Service Availability

We work to keep BeBadge available, reliable, and secure, but we do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the platform, in whole or in part, with reasonable notice where practicable.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the BeBadge platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Billiton Services Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the platform.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Billiton Services Private Limited and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the platform.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform if you breach these Terms or use the platform in a manner that may cause harm to us, other users, or third parties. Upon termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms will cease.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website, and material changes will be notified through the platform. Your continued use of BeBadge after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
